13 September 2008: Borussia Dortmund – Schalke 04 3–3. Referee Lutz Wagner had a dreadful day. Schalke blew a 3–0 lead; Christian Pander and Fabian Ernst were sent off; the 2–3 was offside and the handball penalty for 3–3 was incorrect. Afterwards Wagner spoke of “personal perception”. Nobody laughed.
